An another matter-Pete's Dad

I got a call from Pete's mom this morning at about 6:30 to tell me that Opa had died in his sleep last night.

I don't know how I'm going to tell Pete, and seriously, this is about enough for me too. I had 2 high school friends die, Pete's sister, then Pete's stroke, the storm and now Opa.

Kristy,

Hang in there one more time. The good Lord, your family, and your friends will be there with you, all the way. I am not sure what the big picture is or why things happen but you will have the strength to carry on, that's what we do.

We all love Pete, Anna, and you so very much. His family has become our family, that's the way it should be.

Kristy -

I'm SO sorry to hear about your family's loss. Your faith will guide you through this, I promise. You will be in my thoughts, my prayers, and please know that you are very loved. I also pray that however you decided to tell Pete, that he was comforted by your words, and just by having you by his side. Much love, and many, many prayers!!!

Kristy,

I'm so sorry for all of you. I remember when Queen Elizabeth spoke about her family's annus horribilus after they'd had several tragedies at once, and that is what you are having. My prayers are with you all.

Kristy,

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Your family has had about enough, and God needs to give it a break. I'm praying for you to keep the strength, and for calm in your family.

God Bless.

Kristy, I don't know what to say, this is more than anyone should have to deal with.

Praying for your continued strength and for Pete to find peace during this time. Will be keeping Pete's family in my prayers as well.
